The first group of 1948 Palestinian pilgrims arrived in King Hussein Bridge (the Allenby Crossing) on Tuesday morning, July 23, 2019.

Rafat Matarneh, Director of the Allenby Bridge said that the staff of the crossing administration is working round the clock to ensure facilitating the Palestinian pilgrims' entry to Jordan and to provide modern buses to transport them from the crossing to Saudi Arabia.

About 6, 800 Palestinian pilgrims are expected to arrive in the Bridge by the end of July.
