Photos circulated on social media platforms on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, showing Prime Minister Omar Razzaz and his government team flying to Aqaba in economy class.

The photos show Razzaz accompanied by Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Tariq al-Hammouri and Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs, Sami Daoud.

Razzaz and the government team first headed to Aqaba Container Terminal Company (ACT), where they were briefed about the logistics provided by the Company through a visual presentation.

During their visit to Aqaba, they are also expected to visit the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA).

Aqaba Container Terminal is a successful model for public-private partnership and contributes to promoting Jordan's position as a trading hub.

According to the Company's official website, it is a feeder port to a mature mainliner facility that plays a crucial role in the Jordanian economy, enabling growth and development regionally. It serves as a gateway for the Jordanian market, as well as for transit cargo moving to and from other countries in the region.
