Prime Minister Omar Razzaz, with a number of his ministerial team, visited the northern Jordanian province of Irbid, on Tuesday, July 16, 2019.

Razzaz and the accompanying team chacked on a number of projects implemented by the government and met with a number of from the province and listened to their demands and needs.

In his visit, Razzaz was briefed on the "Shamal Start" project within the Irbid Development Area, aimed at supporting youth and startups in entrepreneurship and innovation and to show their success stories.

Shamal Start is considered the first business incubator in the north funded by the European Union (EU), Luminus Education Group, in collaboration with the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) and iPark.

On the other hand, activists on social media circulated a video showing the presence of police officers and police dogs just before the arrival of PM Razaz to the Greater Irbid Municipality.
