The cabinet decided on Monday, July 8, 2019, to apply its recent decision, to refer employees subject to the provisions of the Civil Retirement Law with more than 30 years of service, on Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) and Municipalities' employees, to whom the provisions of the Civil Retirement Law and the Municipal Employees Retirement System will be applied.

The cabinet set the end of July 31, 2019, a deadline for implementing the decision.

Employees will enjoy benefits covered by the previously approved decision.
