Health Ministry issues statement on health of injured in gas cylinder blast in Downtown Amman

Jordanian Minister of Health, Saad Jaber checked on the health conditions of the three people injured due to a gas cylinder explosion inside a restaurant in Downtown Amman this morning.

Media spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Hatem al-Azrai said the explosion resulted in two deaths, one of them is a Jordanian citizen, while the other is of Arab nationality.

Al-Azrai stated that two of the injured were transferred to Al-Bashir Hospital, where one of them was listed in critical health condition, while the other is in moderate health condition.

However, the third man was taken to Prince Hamza Hospital and his condition is stable.

The Ministry expressed its deep condolences to the deceased and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
