A few days ago, a girl was injured after she fell to the floor from a ride at a tourist resort in Jerash.

One of the girl's relatives told Roya that the girl had broken back and knee injuries.

A source at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities confirmed that the incident was true and took place at a resort licensed as an environmental camp in Jerash, but not for adventure tourism, confirming that it was not licensed to provide such kind of rides.

The source said that the concerned authorities at the Ministry contacted the girl in order to know all the details.

The source stressed that in cooperation with the competent authorities, the Ministry will the necessary action against the resort in accordance with legal requirements.
