A man has shot his colleague to death in Karak governorate this morning, according to a security source.

The source stated that the killer has set himself on fire after he had shot four of his colleagues, who work as nurses at a private hospital, killing one of them and causing one more serious injuries. 

However, the health conditions of the other man injured and the killer were described as critical, spokesman for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) has said.

The spokesman added that there were other people in the area who suffered suffocation and they are currently receiving treatment at a hospital. 

The source added that the security services rushed to the scene and opened an investigation into the incident.
