US President Donald Trump's envoy to the Middle East, Jason Greenblatt said the United States has not put pressure on Jordan for its role with regard to the Muslim Holy Shrines in the occupied Jerusalem.

Greenblatt said in a tweet on his Twitter official account, "The United States has not & will not pressure Jordan to give up its special role with regard to the Muslim Holy Shrines as set forth in Jordan’s peace treaty with Israel. Speculation to the contrary is completely false."
