Security services managed to arrest a reckless driver who ran over a girl at the bus yard of the Hashemite University in Zarqa while he was drifting his car on purpose.

The car drifter had hit the student, who was referred to a hospital, and fled immediately, spokesman for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said.

"The driver was later identified and arrested and an investigation was launched in order to take legal action against him," the spokesman added.
