King departs for Saudi Arabia to attend Arab Summit

His Majesty King Abdullah II left on Thursday, May 30, 2019, for Saudi Arabia where he will head Jordan’s delegation at the emergency Arab Summit that Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia called for and which will be held this evening in Mecca.

King Abdullah will also head the Jordanian delegation at the 14th Ordinary Session of the Islamic Summit Conference of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, which will be held in Mecca on Friday night, under the theme "Hand in Hand toward the Future."

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah II was sworn in as Regent in the presence of Cabinet members.
