A person has died on Saturday, May 25, 2019, after drowning in the King Abdullah Canal in Adassiya area, according to a source at the Civil Defence Directorate (CDD).

Diving and rescue teams at the CDD had rushed to the scene, recovered the body and transferred it to Muath Bin Jabal Hospital.
