Two road accidents and one fire accident have occurred in the Kingdom on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, in three different areas, resulting in 15 injuries.

The first accident involved four people, who were injured after their car collided with another on the Desert Highway after Dab'a detour in Madaba governorate.

Media department at the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) said in a statement that the ambulance teams provided first aid to the injured and transferred them to Jordan Hospital and Nadeem Hospital, where their health conditions were described as moderate.

The second accident involved five people, who sustained various injuries after their car overturned on the Mafraq-Rehab road, according to the CDD’s media department statement.

Mafraq CDD rescue and ambulance teams rushed to the scene, administered first aid to the injured and transferred them to Mafraq Public Hospital and King Talal Military Hospital, where their health conditions were also described as moderate, the statement further said.

In the third accident, six people were injured as a result of gas inhalation after a fire erupted inside a room in their house in Dhahr Al Sarow area in Jerash due to electrical contact.

CDD cadres have rushed to the scene and were able to extinguish, control and prevent the fire from spreading to the nearby houses.

According to the media department at the CDD, the necessary first aid was provided to the injured and they were transferred to Jerash Governmental Hospital, where their health conditions were described as moderate.
