King visits Al Mukheiba town in Irbid on first Friday of Ramadan

His Majesty King Abdullah, on the first Friday of Ramadan, visited Al Mukheiba town in Irbid Governorate.

King Abdullah joined worshippers in performing Friday prayer at the town’s Yarmouk Mosque, and visited two families in Al Mukheiba.

In this surprise visit, His Majesty stopped by the house of an underprivileged six-member family, where the parent is suffering from several illnesses and his visually disabled wife suffers from cancer.

The King directed Royal Hashemite Court personnel to ensure the family receives proper healthcare and that they are provided with a better home.

His Majesty also stopped by the home of serviceman Mohammad Barahmeh, who was injured in the line of duty in 1994, and checked on his health and living conditions.

The King directed Royal Hashemite Court personnel to ensure proper healthcare is provided to Barahmeh and that his home undergoes maintenance and is properly furnished.

His Majesty also instructed Royal Hashemite Court personnel to ensure that 15 housing units are built for underprivileged families in Al Mukheiba, in line with the regulations of the Ministry of Social Development.

In cooperation with the Zakat Fund, the Royal Hashemite Court is working to establish income generating projects for underprivileged families in Al Mukheiba town, as well as working to hold a free medical day for the town in cooperation with the fund’s Al Maqased Charity Hospital.

Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi and His Majesty’s Adviser for Communication and Coordination Bisher Khasawneh accompanied the King on the visit.
