Government: Oil prices continue rising during fourth week of April 2019

Oil derivatives prices rose during the fourth week of April, compared with prices recorded in the third week, according to data released by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources on Monday, April 29, 2019.

The price of 95-octane gasoline rose by 1.6% from JD 494.719 ($697.77) per tonne to JD 502.440 ($708.66) per tonne, while the price of 90-octane gasoline rose by 1.9% from JD 478.575 ($675) per tonne to JD 487.586 ($687.710).

However, diesel prices rose by 1.5% from JD 442.558 ($624.2) per tonne to JD 449.010 ($633.3) and kerosene prices also increased by 1.8% from JD 466.026 ($657.3) per tonne to JD 474.605 ($669.4).

The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) increased by 3.3%, reaching JD 375.345 ($529.4) per tonne compared to JD 363.362 ($512.50) last March.

Brent crude prices had risen by 3.1% from JD 50.3390 ($71) a barrel to JD 51.9201 ($73.23).
