A Jordanian man in his twenties was sentenced to 5 years with temporary hard labor for indecently assaulting a female teenager suffering from autism after she has disappeared while she was with her mother and entered the cafeteria where the accused used to work.

The court's decision, which has been taken on Sunday, April 14, 2019, was announced during a public hearing held under the chairmanship of Judge Fawzi Al-Nahar.

According to the details of the indictment, the 16-year-old victim suffering from autism was accompanied by her mother to register in a center for autism belonging to the Ministry of Social Development.

After returning home by a taxi and while her mother was paying the fare, the girl got out of the taxi and fled to the cafeteria where the accused works.

After a while, the girl returned home and told her mother about what happened to her.

Accordingly, a complaint was filed to the Family Protection Department against the accused.
