Jordan Customs officials working at the King Hussein Bridge Customs Office managed to seize 5 kilograms of gold alloys that were hidden in a bus which was destined to reach Palestinian Lands.

An official report of the seizures was written and the issued fines were paid, which were worth of JDs 89,000.

For his part, Director of King Hussein Bridge Customs Office, Dean Ismail Wreikat said that when the bus arrived, it was suspected of carrying smuggled materials.

Upon the suspicions, the bus had been thoroughly searched and the gold alloys had been found and seized.
