The Israeli army announced on Sunday, April 7, 2019, a full closure of the border crossings with the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank due to the Knesset election, 2019.
The border crossings will be closed for 24 hours starting from Monday midnight, April 8, 2019.
However, crossings will remain open for humanitarian, medical and exceptional cases only.
The balloting will begin at 7 am on Tuesday and will end at 10 pm.
The occupation usually closes down its borders with the Palestinian territories during public holidays to prevent possible attacks.
