Security Services revealed details of a woman who claimed that her son was kidnapped in Ramtha.

A spokesman for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said in a statement on Monday morning that a complaint was received yesterday evening by the Ramtha Police Directorate through emergency number 911 on the kidnapping of a 13-year-old boy of Arabic nationality in Ramtha.

The boy’s mother revealed that her son was accompanying her before the incident, as they were in a taxi when she got out to buy some things, and the driver also left the vehicle. When they both came back they found that the taxi and the boy were gone. The mother immediately contacted the police and reported her son’s kidnapping.

Media Spokesman said that through investigation and referral to surveillance cameras at the scene showed that the boy got into the driver's seat and drove the car himself. Police started searching immediately, and the boy was later caught with the taxi and was investigated by Juvenile Police Department, where he stated that he stole the car after his mother and the driver had left then drove it and took the money that was in the vehicle.
