The body found on early Wednesday, March 27, 2019, by the security services near the Abdoun tunnel in Amman belongs to the son of the Libyan Ambassador to Amman, a source told Roya.

According to the source, the Ambassador informed the security services of the disappearance of his son, who is in his twenties, and accordingly, the incident was circulated, and in less than 24 hours, he was found dead.

After the body was referred to the National Center for Forensics, it was discovered that the deceased was killed by a single gunshot to the head while he was in his car, half a kilometer away from the British Embassy building.

The source explained to Roya that family disputes have driven him to leave home and there are suspicions of suicide; however, the investigation is still ongoing.
