MP Saleh Al-Armouti addressed several questions to the government about what he called Masonic clubs and their activities in Jordan.

This came in an internal memorandum submitted by MP Armouti to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, which included questions to the Minister of the Interior Samir Moubaidin, on the activities of Masonic clubs, sources of their foreign funding, and called on the government to disclose the names of the institutions and ministers who have ties or links to these entities.

The MP pointed out that the law of associations and social associations prohibits the establishment of Masonic clubs in Jordan, adding that these clubs organize forums under the name “Governorate of Jordan”, and asked the government how can a conference like this be legally organized under the official patronage of the state.
