The Ministry of Water and Irrigation announced that King Talal Dam has just started to flood.

The Ministry said in a statement on Sunday, March 17, 2019, that this is the third time through which the Dam floods during this rainy season.

Ministry spokesman Omar Salama has earlier said that the dam is expected to flood after reaching its full capacity of 75 million cubic meters.

Salama called on all citizens to take care and to stay away from the dam, stressing that all measures have been taken in cooperation with the concerned authorities to prevent any issues that may occur in case it floods.
