A faculty member at the University of Jordan (UJ) made an Arab student, residing outside the Kingdom, succeed in a course, although the student neither attended any exam nor the lectures during the semester, Member of Parliament, Ahmad Hmesat revealed on Sunday, March 10, 2019.

Hmesat said that a committee has been set up for an investigation into this case and into several previous similar cases, but no actions have been taken. 

"We have the right to know what the committee has done in this regard," hmesat said, adding that the university professor is still on board.
