A video circulated on social media platforms on late Saturday, March 9, 2019, showing a Sharia Judge appealing to His Majesty King Abdullah II to meet him so that the Judge can be able to reveal details of a financial and administrative corruption case in the Jordanian Chief Justice Department.

After the document leak, the Sharia judge, Omar Majali, posted a video on his Facebook personal account saying that he was surprised to find that he was referred to retirement, although he has not reached 50 years of age yet.

Majali complained that no obvious reasons or explanations were given on why he was referred to retirement.
