The Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Shrines, Abdul Nasser Abu al-Basal, visited on Friday a number of mosques located in areas hit by torrential rains in the capital Amman.

During the visit, the Minister of Awqaf inspected the damage caused to Abdullah bin Rawah Mosque in Jabal Al-Qusour and the Raghdan Mosque in the center of the country. He directed the concerned parties to immediately deal with the damage in order to preserve the sanctity of the mosques and enable worshipers to perform their prayers in a healthy environment.

Abu Al-Basal also instructed the concerned parties to follow up on mosques throughout the Kingdom.
