Rainwater raids homes in Madaba and Ajloun

Heavy rainfall has been raging in the Kingdom since yesterday, resulting in a number of houses in the provinces of Madaba and Ajloun, as well as the Nadim Hospital in Madaba to be flooded on Thursday.

Governor of Madaba said in a press statement that the rainwater raided four houses in the province which are below street level, and the situation was dealt with directly by the civil defense teams without causing any damage, noting that the operating room in cooperation with the various departments involved around the clock to avoid any damage due to the prevailing weather conditions.

The mayor of Ajloun al-Kubra, Engineer Hassan al-Zaghul said that a team of municipal staff had been dispatched to drain the water from houses and maintain the water network in the area.

For his part, the head of the emergency committee Governor of Ajlun Ali Majali, said that the heavy rain that hit the various areas of the province since yesterday, led to the formation of floods and water pools and high water levels, which requires caution, especially drivers of vehicles.
