The head of the Civil Service Bureau, Nidal Batayneh, said on Wednesday that the total number of applications for employment accumulated in the Office amount to 388,889 requests, stressing that the Bureau is committed to take "procedures to establish the principle of equal opportunities and transparency.”

Batayneh said that the total of female applicants amounted to 291,053 while the number of males applicants reached 798,36 applications for employment.

He added that 36,072 job applications have been received through the e-recruitment system.
