Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi landed in Amman on Sunday afternoon and was welcomed in true royal fashion upon arrival by His Majesty King Abdullah II.

President Sisi is in town to hold an Egyptian-Jordanian Summit with the Jordanian monarch.

The two leaders will discuss bilateral relations between the two countries, and how they can enhance their economic cooperation.

Jordan and Egypt have maintained strong and close relations over the years on the political, economic, social and cultural sphere.
