The Public Safety Committee of the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) evacuated a number of buildings adjacent to a digging site, after a rock section of the hill collapsed last night due to heavy rain on Al-Quds Street, in the Ras Al-Ain area of Amman. 

The evacuation was taken as a precautionary measure, and there is no damage or injury recorded.

GAM, who is the owner of the hotel apartment buildings, ensured public safety of the residents and informed them to evacuate by Friday afternoon.
