Rains on Friday, December 8, 2018, revealed infrastructure and road service problems. In Yadouda south of Amman, a Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) fire engine sank into the street after a sudden collapse of the road.

This collapse, which goes along a wide stretch, revealed the fragility of the infrastructure and road pavings.

The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) said the collapse was caused by extension works to the sewage network by a local company.

GAM, who is responsible for Amman and her streets, confirmed it will follow-up on the situation and fix the road as soon as possible.
