Water levels rose significantly in the Zarqa River (Sel al-Zarqa) on Friday, December 7, 2018, after heavy rainfall swept the Kingdom.

The authorities and the meteorological office warn citizens not to get close to floods and streams.

Floods are expected to form in valleys and lowlands of the north and central parts of the Kingdom, and rise in water levels in major roads and tunnels in Jordanian cities, including the capital Amman is expected.
