It was raining in Amman and other parts of Jordan when we went to bed last night, and it was still raining when we woke up this morning.

Stay warm on Friday, December 7, as heavy showers and thunderstorms are here to stay in northern, eastern and central parts of the Kingdom.

In some parts of Jordan, the rain will be accompanied by hailstones.

Meanwhile, southern parts of the country will be relatively cold, with scattered rain forecast for those areas.

And as usual, avoid valleys and lowlands, as those are the areas where floods and strong currents are most likely to form, like they did in the past two months, with fatal consequences.

The cold, rainy weather will continue throughout today, and will begin to change around midday tomorrow.
