A Jordanian security source denied reports of a plane falling north of Irbid Governorate, near the Syrian-Jordanian-Palestinian border.

The security source told Roya that a resident from Qarqush town called the Public Security reporting a plane crashing in one of the valleys.

Security forces mobilised to the area only to find a citizen who had set a fire while working in his farm, which resulted in the streak of thick white smoke in the sky, explaining why citizens in the area thought it was a plane that had crashed.
