The Jordanian Artists Association met with with fellow members to discuss musical mobility, aspirations of musicians and the Association in creating spaces through which music can develop, and revitalise the sector.

Members have put forward many ideas and strategies for implementation, as well as scientific and practical solutions that will enrich the impact of music, and will benefit the music, the Association and the national musical scene.

At the end of the meeting, the ideas and projects put forward were adopted and will be formulated for implementation after communication with the institutions and ministries concerned to reach the highest ambition in bringing these ideas to light within the national project of culture and arts.

The Association’a demands were as follows:

• Review the form and content of the Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts.
• Prepare various musical projects.
• Bring back Jordanian Artist's Day, which was founded in 2010.
• Association's sponsorship for individual and group music.
• Monthly musical concerts.
• Classification of musical artists.
• Establis the union’s orchestra as soon as possible.
• Establishment of a mechanism to invest in musical art.
