We’ve all watched those social experiment videos, where adults or kids are asked to try different foods for the first time in their lives.

The US Embassy in Amman created its very own “Americans trying Jordanian food” video a while back, and to celebrate Thanksgiving today (November 22), they’ve re-posted the hilarious vid on their official Facebook page.

“Tomorrow, we celebrate Thanksgiving. For Americans, this holiday is all about family, food and giving thanks. When we talk about food in the U.S. Embassy - Jordan, we always remember our favorite video of all times, Americans trying food in Jordan,” the Embassy wrote on FB.

In the video, the embassy staff were brave enough to try sheep testicles and spinal cord, baby birds, and more!

In all fairness, those foods aren’t eaten on a daily basis in Jordan, or by everyone for that matter.

More popular Jordanian-Palestinian dishes include mansaf, maqloobeh, mlookheyyeh, mjaddarah, msakhan, stuffed vine leaves, stuffed courgettes and many more delicious delights.

But now, it’s time to watch Americans’ reactions to Jordanian food.
