Former Turkish Prime Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, paid a visit to Salt Governorate on Sunday, November 18, 2018, accompanied by his wife, Turkish Ambassador to the Kingdom, Murat Karagoz and other embassy staff.

Salt Governor, Khaled Al Khashman, informed the Turkish PM Davutoglu and his accompanied delegation about the municipality’s most important projects as well as future plans in reviving Salt’s heritage and the history of the city’s development.

Davutoglu remarked that Salt city has a special place in Turkey’s heart, as 300 Turkish soldiers are buried in Salt. The former PM thanks the citizens of Salt for their kind hospitality, and called on officials at the Turkish Embassy in Amman to provide the Municipality of Salt with all necessary technical support.
