Today, Wednesday, November 14, 2018, the Kingdom witnesses a slight drop in temperatures with partly cloudy to overcast skies and scattered rain showers, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Rain may be heavy at times, accompanied by thunderstorms, which may lead to flash floods in valleys and low areas, with westerly winds.

JMD warns citizens of:

• risk of slippery roads.
• risk of flooding in valleys, lowlands and watershed areas.
• Hail in some areas.

At night, the weather is expected to be cold and partly cloudy with a chance of rain in various parts of Jordan, with westerly winds.

JMD warns citizens of:

• Fog over mountains and the Badia at night.

Thursday

A further slight drop in temperatures is expected, with the weather remaining relatively cold and partly cloudy. There is also a chance of occasional showers of rain, with westerly winds in most areas of the country.

JMD warns citizens of:

• risk of flooding in valleys, lowlands and watershed areas.
• fog in the early morning over mountains and Badia.

Friday

Weather conditions will remain cold, with partly cloudy skies in most parts of Jordan.

In the northern and central parts of the Kingdom, cloudy and rainy weather is expected, with some heavy rainfall at times and westerly winds.

Later at night, stable weather is expected with low chance of rain, while foggy weather is expected over mountains and some parts of the Badia and the plains.

Saturday

A rise in temperatures is predicted, with relatively cold weather in most areas.

Daytime temperatures are expected to be moderate in the Dead Sea, Aghwar and Aqaba, with some clouds at low and moderate altitudes, with southern easterly winds.
