Prime Minister Omar Razaz announced reforming the Ministerial Committee on Empowerment of Women, effective as of Sunday, October 28, 2018.

Chaired by the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Mary Kawar, members of the Committee include; Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs, Minister of Labor, Minister of Public Sector Development, Minister of Education and Higher Education and Scientific Research, Minister of State for Legal Affairs, Minister of Social Development, Minister of Health, Minister of Youth, as well as the government's General Coordinator for Human Rights and the Secretary-General of the Jordanian National Commission for Women (JNCW).
