Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah with students who received academic scholarships from Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans earlier today on October 22, 2018.

The meeting, which took place at Al Bisharat Golf Club in Amman, was also followed with two training workshops aimed at enhancing the participant’s communication skills and enriching their creative thinking. The workshop also included a motivational lecture.

Her Majesty welcomed the students and discussed many issues with them, including their educational choices in the near future. Her Majesty wished them luck in their studies and stressed that Al-Aman Fund is there to guide and support them with arms wide open.

The Queen expressed pride in the students and excitement for what the next chapter has in store for them. “I consider myself among my own children, so I will speak to you just as I have spoken to Al Hussein, Iman, and Salma when they graduated high school and started college,” she said.

In an educational workshop conducted by Dr. Suhail Jouaneh, entitled "Building the Bridge", Her Majesty exchanged talks with the students about the specializations that they were accepted in.

Established in 2003 under the guidance of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, the Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans provides young orphans with opportunities to complete their higher education in universities and community colleges. The fund covers tuition fees, personal expenses and housing for the recipients. The programme also guides and helps students find the right job after graduation.
