The Imam and preacher of the Prophet's Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi) in Saudi, Sheikh Al Huthaify, warned that television series are spreading divorce, disintegrating families, displacing children, and afflicting couples with marital problem, according to the Saudi newspaper “AlRiyadh”, October 13, 2018.

Sheikh Huthaify added to the list, “taboo” sites, and wives who leave the house without the husband’s permission; pointing out, according to his opinion, that it is not allowed.

“Children face a life of great stress, unhappiness, and are prone to delinquency,” Said the Sheikh.

He stressed that the revocation of the marriage contract leads men into temptation, which harms life and the afterlife. He also added that women are prone to be lead into temptation more so than men are.
