Jordanian investors have maintained their position as the top investors in Dubai real estate amongst their Arab counterparts from the Middle East, excluding investors from the Gulf region.

During the first nine months of 2018, Jordanian investors splashed out $327 million on properties in the UAE Emirate.

A report released by the Department of Land and Property in Dubai on Saturday revealed that 548 Jordanians purchased 644 properties since the beginning of this year.

Egyptian investors came a close second with 719 business deals by 623 investors, amounting to a total of $273 million.

Meanwhile, Iraqis came in third place, followed by the Lebanese in fourth place.

Khaliji investors spent a whopping $13.7 billion on 6,681 properties since the beginning of this year, with Saudis claiming the biggest chunk of investments.

Other big fish in the UAE property market hailed from India, as top foreign investors, the UK (second place), Pakistan (third place) and China (fourth place).
