The Palestinian Ministry of Health voiced its concern regarding the shortage of primary care drugs in Gaza Strip.

The statement released by the Ministry on Thursday, October 4, 2018, described the situation as extremely serious.

Currently, around 70% of drugs and medicine that treat chronic diseases are unavailable. The Ministry stressed that the consequences of this matter pose a direct threat on the health of Palestinian patients.
