Member of Jordanian Parliment, Saddah Habashneh, advised current Prime Minister, Omar Razzaz, to withdraw the draft amendment of the Income Tax Bill (ITB) before he loses his position because of it.

Speaking at a legislative session to discuss the amended ITB, on September 26, 2018, Habashneh said: "Either withdraw the law or fall like Hani Mulki", reffering to former Prime Minister, Hani Mulki, who resigned after suggesting a similiar ITB which was refused by the public, creating turmoil and protest in June, 2018.

Habashneh also accused Razzaz of “deceiving" after withdrawing the draft law only to present it in a manner no different from the previous one.
