The Ministry of Health (MOH), in cooperation with the Civil Service Bureau, announced the need to appoint a number of specialists in its staff.

MOH spokesman Hatim Azraai said that the required specialties include general internal medicine, dermatology, general surgery, anaesthesia, psychology, obstetrics and gynaecology, urology, neurosurgery, emergency medical services, pathology and histopathology .

He added that the ministry's request to appoint doctors with these specialties comes within the framework of a comprehensive plan to meet the shortage of a number of medical specialties, especially those urgently needed.

Azraai pointed out that the ministry has developed a comprehensive plan to fill short, medium and long term shortfalls through purchase of services, expansion of residency programs, agreements with university and private hospitals, and internal and external expeditions.

The Ministry asked applicants who meet the conditions to visit the ministry’s Human Resources located in Tabarbour with required documents.

Applications will be accepted for the duration of ten days, starting today, Sunday September 23, 2018.
