In its previous weekly session, the Jordanian Cabinet have decided to eliminate a 10% sales tax on fresh vegetables and fruits and reduce a 4% from the sale tax of some other products.

The government verified the decision as being part of a review plan executed to re-evaluate the general tax system in order to further protect those with limited income.
