Jordanian Minister of State for Media Affairs and Government Spokesperson, Jumana Ghunaimat, voiced Jordan's condemnation of Israel's violations resulting in closing Al-Aqsa Mosque gates and forcing worshippers and Awqaf staff out of the holy shrine on Friday, Prime Ministry reported.

Ghunaimat considered the Israeli breach a violation of all international norms that grant respect to all places of worship, held Israel responsibility for these provocations and demanded an immediate halt to such practices.

The Minister pointed out that Jordan made contacts in order to reopen Al-Aqsa Mosque gates, which were reopened early on Saturday.
