His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, visited the General Directorate of the Gendarmerie (GDG) on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.

During the meeting with the Director of the General Directorate of Gendarmes, Hussein Hawatmeh, His Majesty stressed that Jordan is strong and is becoming stronger by the day. It is due to the awareness and wisdom of its people as well as the determination of the continuous efforts and collaboration of its Armed Forces and Security Services, His Majesty confirmed.

Hawatmeh, who briefed His Majesty on the most important and recent developments in the Directorate, expressed his pride in meeting His Majesty’s expectations, and in the confidence that His Majesty has in the Directorate’s capability.

"This has always been a motivation to maximize our efforts in maintaining the Kingdom’s security and its people safety.. it is a responsibility we are honored to carry", Hawatmeh added.
