A bright comet is coming into Earth’s view in two weeks’ time.

Jordanian astronomer Emad Mujahid said on Wednesday that the comet will be visible to the naked eye on July 28, 2018, so you can keep your telescopes where they are.

Mujahid added that the comet is entering the solar system for the first time in its life, which makes it extra special.

What also makes this extraterrestrial wonder shine is its intense brightness, which will be visible from the northern half of our planet.

In fact, this comet is going to be even brighter than the famous Comet Halley.

Comet Halley, or Halley’s Comet, returns to Earth every 75 years; the next predicted perihelion of Halley's Comet is July 28, 2061.
