It’s June, it’s summer and it’s hot outside, but the skies of Jordan don’t seem to care as they poured down with rain on many parts of the kingdom throughout today.
Seeing rain in Jordan at this time of year is unusual, but the water-scarce country certainly needs all the water it can get, which is why Jordanians were happy to see it rain in Amman and in some northern and central parts of the country.
Wednesday is expected to be as wet as Tuesday, while thunderstorms could pay the skies a visit in some parts of the country.
Our advice? It's not actually cold, but keep a light jacket on and an umbrella at hand, and don't forget to drive carefully as the roads will get slippery due to the rain.
