Head of the Royal Medical Services Dr. Moeen Habashneh said on Friday that 10 Palestinian patients, who were injured during demonstrations during the Great Return March near the Gaza border, left the Medical City after completing their treatment.

Habashneh said in a press release that the injured left the hospital and directly headed to King Hussien Bridge, which connects Jordan with the West Bank.

“The patients were transported in good health condition along with their families,” adding that 19 patients are still being treated.

Jordan received earlier last month 29 injured who were shot by Israeli snipers.

More than 100 people were killed, hundreds were injured since the demonstrations started on March 30, calling for ending the decade-long siege and for the right of return for Palestinian refugees.
