Jordan Society of Tourism and Travel Agents (JSTA) called on potential travelers to only deal with agencies certified by the them and the Ministry of Tourism.
In their statement on Tuesday, the JSTA encouraged the public to ask for agencies’ accreditation and pay close attention to the provisions in the contracts they signed, especially the ones pertaining to booking and cancellation.
JSTA is the authority responsible for monitoring travel agencies and any complaints should be directed to them. They encouraged to-be-travelers to send their complaints in case an agency refused to show accreditation or booking and cancellation vouchers.
